2007 Breakout Playoff Hockey Rules
 
 

1. Fantasy Cup Hockey Challenge is free to enter and open to any resident of Canada, excluding Quebec, except employees of Cornerstone International, affiliated sponsors, their assignees, and licensees, and members of their immediate families living in the same household.

 

2. You may enter at any time during the Hockey Playoffs. You will not be awarded for points of games played prior to your registration. Go online to www.cfgcanada.com to register.

 

3. Only two entries per person. More than two entries from the same person will be removed at the discretion of Cornerstone International.

 

4. No purchase necessary. Only official online entry forms at www.cfgcanada.com , or reasonably drawn facsimiles will be accepted. Breakout Playoff Hockey organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that has been incorrectly completed. All entries received become the property of Cornerstone International. The participant mailing list is occasionally made available to select companies with information on products or services, which may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive the information, please check the box on the entry from that removes your information from this list. This contest is run under the requirements of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

 

5. Players statistics are accumulated from the start of the plaoffs. Statistics are to be considered final from the day they are recovered, regardless of any subsequent changes made by any other reporting organization. Cornerstone International will compile the statistics with or without the assistance of an outside statistical service. The contest statistics are adjusted at the sole discretion of Cornerstone International.

 

6. In the event of a tie for any of the grand prizes at the completion of the contest, the contestant with the most goals, will be ruled the winner. If they still remain tied at this point, a random draw will be made to determine the winners.  A contestant may only win once in any given prize category. In the event of a repeat winner, the prize will be awarded to the next best ranking contestant. All prize winners will notifies by email of their prize award and each contestant, must have a valid email address that is confirmed at the time of sign up.

 

7. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, no substitutes. By entering this contest you agree to the use of your name, address, photograph, and contest selections for publicity without compensation. Chances of winning are dependent upon skill used in picking your team of players and the total number of entries received. Contest organizers, licensee's, licensers and sponsors are not responsible for any injury incurred by a contestant as a result of winning or participating in the contest. For the purpose of awarding prizes, it is the sole responsibility of the contestant to have submitted an applicable email address for us to contact them or to contact us by email following the contest at support@cfgcanada.com.

 

8.  If a player retires, is injured or decides not to play in the playoffs, no compensation will be made to anyone who has picked that player.

 

9. In order to receive the extra services, including updates, statistics, injury reports, and Internet trading, you must include the appropriate service fee payable to “Cornerstone International”. Online transactions will be processed through Paypal. You may pay via your paypal account or any credit card accepted through paypal (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, and Diner club) There may be charges associated with the transaction, that each contestant will be sole responsible for (currency exchange). All transactions are processed in Canadian Currency but some Credit card companies will process the transaction in US Dollars (AMEX and Diner Club). Cornerstone International is not responsible for these transaction charges. If any entrant properly requests and pays for the extra services and is disqualified for any reason, they will receive a full refund of their extra services fee by the method upon which they submitted their payment (credit card reversal, Paypal ).

 

10. Player trades -

Trades made up to and including MIDNIGHT (24:00:00 hrs) Central Standard Time (CST) will be active for the next days game. All trades made after Midnight (00:00:01) CST will activated for the following days games. For example, Trades made anytime on Monday will be active for a Tuesday game. All trades will be held for a period of THREE (3) days before that player can be traded away. The Player you traded away will also be held to this 3 day period, and will not be able to add him back to your roster until that 3 days has passed. For example, if a player is traded on Monday, then that player will be active or inactive for Tuesday, and you will not be able to perform a trade to acquire or remove that player until Thursday. If you were then to trade on that Thursday, your player would be active for Friday.

 

Trades will be time stamped by the online database and will be active according to that time and these rules. Internet trades will be reflected in your roster within 24 hours. Any interpretation or assigning of time stamp authorization will be under the sole discretion of Cornerstone International, and can be done with or with out the notification of the contestants or contest host.

 

11. The extra services are optional and are not a requirement of entry. A computer with internet access is required to use extra service of this contest (access to rankings and trading). There is no mailed in or fax access to the premium services. All inquires should be directed to support@cfgcanada.com. All phone messages and fax inquiries will be dealt with in a timely manner but it may take 48 to 72 hours to receive a reply by these methods..

 

12. The decisions of the contest organizers will be final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment. Cornerstone reserves the right to change or modify these rules and regulations or any other procedure or application during the course of the contest.

 

13. By entering this contest you acknowledge acceptance of all contest rules and agree to be bound by them.

Cornerstone International, offering Playoff Hockey Pool. Playoff Hockey Contests are similar to Playoff Hockey Pools. Hockey Pools involve picking players and scoring. Breakout Playoff Hockey Contest is run under Cornerstone International. Playoff Hockey Pool, Playoff Hockey Contest, Hockey Contests and Playoff NHL Hockey are all similarities to this contest.
